About the District
The Lake and Peninsula School District serves about 320 students across nine village schools on the Alaska Peninsula. The district covers an area roughly the size of West Virginia, extending 400 miles from Lake Clark in the north to Perryville in the south. None of our school sites can be reached by road; all travel is by boat or small plane.
