Student-Parent Handbook
The 2026-2027 Student-Parent Handbook covers school policies, procedures, graduation requirements, and the forms families sign each year.
Transfer Students
Students who apply for admission to district schools will be placed at the level they have reached elsewhere, pending observation and evaluation of their academic, social, and emotional performance by their teachers, guidance personnel, and the Principal/Head Teacher or designee. Records from prior schools should be sent to the LPSD Registrar.
Immunizations
Alaska requires children in public schools to be immunized unless exempted. Before your child starts school, provide an immunization record from a physician, health department, or other health care provider.
